Two cars worth thousands of euros were stolen from a showroom in Limassol in the early hours on Thursday, police said.

According to police the perpetrators broke into the offices of the car sales company and stole the two vehicles valued at €60,500, driving them through the stores open glass front door.

The incident occurred shortly after one in the morning and was reported by a 21-year-old witness.

The witness told police he saw a car driving through the showroom’s glass front and out of the premises.

The scene was cordoned off by police who determined that the stores sliding glass entrance had been breached.

According to the companys sales manager, who was called to the scene, two new cars were stolen, a Honda HRV, worth €32,000, and a Honda Vezel, worth €28,500 euros.
