President Nicos Anastasiades on Thursday participated in the informal EU meeting at Versailles on how to address Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“We will discuss the extremely worrying developments in Ukraine and their consequences.,” he tweeted at the beginning of the meeting of EU leaders in Versailles.
“The European Union and its member states stand united in their strong condemnation of Russia’s unjustified military aggression against Ukraine,” he added.
EU leaders met for the two-day meeting on Thursday to find ways to urgently address the fallout of Russias invasion of Ukraine, as the battle raged for the 15th day.
