Police in Limassol are investigating the circumstances in which a Ukrainian woman suffered a fractured skull.
The woman, aged 45, is currently in a “comatose state” according to police, having been diagnosed with a fracture on the right side of her head and subsequently undergone surgery.
After being informed of the woman’s state, police visited the woman’s apartment and arrested her 45-year-old partner, as it turned out he was residing illegally in Cyprus.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the woman’s injury.
