Recipients of the monthly mobility allowance on Friday received a €120 one-off payment from the Social integration department.
The payment was announced by the Social welfare deputy ministry, with the money deposited into the bank accounts of recipients.
The government said the payment will help those receiving the payment cope with the rising cost of living.
