[CYPRUS MAIL] Man arrested for spree of damaging government offices...

Police in Paphos arrested a 29-year-old man for an investigated case of malicious damage to government offices committed over the past few days in the town.

According to Paphos CID chief Michalis Nikolaou, over damages were caused during afterhours initially to the social welfare offices, followed by the citizen’s help bureau, and then the district labour office.

Police have secured testimony against a 29-year-old man who was wanted and later arrested on Wednesday.

According to the complaints, damage was caused to office equipment in the welfare office and to a glass window in the citizen’s help bureau. Damage was also caused to the glass entrance door of the labour office.

The 29-year-old denies any involvement in the cases.
