A 36-year-old man has been arrested with over 1kg of cannabis following a car chase in Limassol, police said Thursday.
The man was spotted driving in Limassol at around 3.40pm on Wednesday after police received information about his alleged involvement with illegal drugs.
According to a police statement, he attempted to escape, but in the process of doing so crashed into two police cars.
During a search in his car, 1.147kg of cannabis as well as a scale with cannabis and cocaine traces on it were found.
