The health ministry announced seven deaths and 2,885 new cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday.
The seven deaths were all men, aged 93, 71, 82, 77, 76, 63 and 58.
There are 206 people being treated for coronavirus in hospitals, 48 of whom are in serious condition.
A total of 111,932 PCR and rapid tests were carried out, with a positivity of 2.58 per cent.
The total number of positives to date is 277,864.
