Covid guidelines will be issued for the Greek national day student parades to be held across Cyprus on March 25, for the first time since the outbreak of coronavirus.
The health ministry protocol will be sent in the coming days, as primary and secondary school principals were notified today by an education ministry circular.
The same protocol, in line with the governments decision earlier this month to allow student parades, will be implemented for the April 1 Eoka day parades.
Relevant events in schools must be held outside, in accordance with existing protocols, without parents, guardians or other visitors.
Updated Covid protocols on schools, including confirmed cases and contacts directives, have been uploaded on the education ministry’s webpage at www.moec.gov.cy/covid_19.html.
The health ministry notes that protocols change based on the relevant epidemiological conditions of the time.
