[CYPRUS MAIL] Cooperation summit underway in Serbia...

The third Cyprus-Serbia intergovernmental cooperation summit is being held on Thursday in Belgrade.

As part of the summit, memorandums of understanding will be signed between the two countries in education, science, innovation and advanced technologies, as well as on between the states’ diplomatic academies.

Ministers will first hold bilateral meetings with their Serbian counterparts at the Palace of Serbia, whereafter the summit will convene under President Nikos Christodoulides and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

A working lunch will follow hosted by Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, in honour of the president and his delegation.

The president will also meet with the Serbian Patriarch Porfirio, at the patriarchate and visit Cypriot companies operating in Belgrade, accompanied by the Serbian minister of trade.

Among those attending the meeting are Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos, Defence Minister Michalis Giorgallas, Education Minister Athena Michaelidou, government spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis, and deputy director of the Diplomatic Office Doros Venezis.
