A fire broke out in a school bus while in motion at the Filoxenia roundabout on Aglantzias Avenue, on Friday morning.
According to the fire department, the fire broke out at the back of the bus in the engine compartment and spread internally. The bus driver noticed the fire and parked the bus in time and all the students got out safely.
The Acropolis fire station responded to the incident with two fire engines and the fire was brought under control shortly after 7.30am.
The causes of the fire will be investigated in collaboration with the Police and the Electromechanical Service.
