Police arrested another minor on Sunday night in connection to the investigation of a school building arson case in Nicosia.
According to the police, the latest arrest was the eighth pertaining to the same incident that took place on Saturday, when, after midnight, officers received a call about a fire at a school.
Police and firefighters arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze, which damaged a several classrooms.
Upon further investigation, police determined that several windows had also been broken, most likely from stones thrown at them.
The last minor was arrested at around 10pm on Sunday and is expected to be remanded on Monday.
