A 26-year-old man has been apprehended in connection with an ongoing investigation following the discovery of 17 kilograms of cannabis at Larnaca airport.
The suitcase containing the narcotics was confiscated by the police. During the investigation of the case, testimony emerged against a 26-year-old man, who was arrested yesterday evening and placed in custody.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Larnaca District Court today for the issuance of a detention order.
Investigations into the matter are still underway.
