A Cyprus Airways flight CY414 from Larnaca to Yerevan today was turned back to Cyprus by the Iranian Air Defense.
Flightradar24 shows that the plane was turned back over Iran's Sanandaj Airport. The reasons are not yet known.
The plane has returned to Cyprus. The passengers on that flight, as well as those waiting in Yerevan for the flight to Cyprus, have been provided with a hotel. The flight will depart tomorrow. Approximate time of departure from Larnaca to Yerevan is 11:00, from Yerevan to Larnaca - 17:00. The company will additionally notify passengers.
