Around the end of February, the first works for the construction of the LNG terminal at Vasilikos are expected to start, while efforts will be made to deliver the project even earlier than July 2023.
This was stated to CNA, on behalf of the Chinese giant contracted to build the LNG import infrastructure (China Petroleum Pipeline), by EPC Executive Manager, George Christou, noting that the basic design is more than 90% complete.
"The required permits for the initial works have been secured and the site offices have been installed on site.
