The Senate of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) decided "with a large majority" that the conduct of the courses during the Spring Semester will be based on the same health protocol that was in force during the Autumn Semester, with the introduction of certain regulations such as the high protection mask type FFP2 - KN95 and the frequent laboratory examinations.
According to a press release issued by the CUTC, the courses, which will normally begin next Monday, January 17, can be attended in physical presence by students who hold a certificate of vaccination or infection against COVID-19 or a certificate issued by the Ministry of Health for people who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons. It should be noted that students who will need to self-limit will be able to attend classes remotely.
