[CNA] Winter Olympics: Gold for Nesslund in ski cross and for Canada's women's hockey team, Gishin first

Sweden's Sandra Neslund won the gold medal in the ski cross at the Beijing Winter Olympics, as did Canada's women's ice hockey team and Switzerland's Michelle Gissin in the alpine skiing combined.

Sweden's Sandra Neslund, 25, left her opponents no chance to react, with Canada's Mariela Thompson taking silver and Germany's Danielle Mayer bronze.



In ice hockey, Canada's women's team won gold after a 3-2 win over Team USA in the final.
