[CNA] Weaknesses and issues in need of immediate regulation identified at the meeting on GES, new meeting within two months

Weaknesses and issues that need immediate regulation, such as, among others, strict compliance with the legislation concerning the budgets of both the General Health System and the State Health Services Agency, but also the need to strengthen the control mechanisms to combat abuses, was noted at the meeting, which was chaired by the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, on Thursday at the Presidential Palace, with all the competent bodies for the General Health System.




In a written statement, Deputy Government Spokesperson, Nivi Parisinou, said that the meeting was attended by the Ministers of Finance and Health, the Auditor General, the Assistant Attorney General, the Director General of the Ministry of Health, the Presidents of the OAI and OCYPY and officials.
