The Government will closely monitor developments in the Ukraine crisis with the aim of properly assessing the data in order to take any preventive or other measures deemed appropriate, said Government Spokesman Marios Pelekanos after the end of the National Council meeting.
During the meeting, President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades also briefed on the proposals of the Greek Cypriot side in relation to the confidence-building measures (CBMs) aimed at resuming the dialogue for the resolution of the Cyprus problem, with the Political Leaders expressing "views, reservations and suggestions", Pelecanos said.
