In statements following a visit and tour of the Larnaca Archaeological Museum, the Speaker of Parliament described it as "truly a jewel for Larnaca" and expressed satisfaction for her presence at the site with Transport Minister Yannis Karousos whom she thanked "warmly for all the effort throughout this period. We really faced many difficulties, even with the pandemic, until we could really have before us a jewel for archaeology for the history of Cyprus for Larnaca".
