There are 50 Cypriots who are currently in Ukraine, while there are 10 other persons who are Ukrainian nationals with a residence permit in Cyprus, Foreign Ministry spokesman Dimitris Demetriou told CNA, adding that the Ministry "continues to work so as to enable the removal of all Cypriots in a safe and orderly manner."
Asked by CNA about the Cypriots remaining in Ukraine, Demetriou said that "Cypriots who are still in the country are scattered in different areas, which in some cases complicates efforts to remove them."
