The road Avdimou-Pissouri has been closed to traffic due to an overflowing river while a landslide on the Nicosia-Lemesos motorway, near the Kakoratzias forest, makes the road dangerous at this point, according to an update from the Police.
Police said in a statement that "falling stones occurred around 12.20 at noon on Monday, at the point of the Nicosia-Lemesos motorway, near the Kakoratzias forest, with the result that the road has become dangerous, while the road surface on the Paphos-Lemesos motorway has become dangerously slippery due to the accumulation of water, at various points in the section from Timi to the height near Petra Romiou."
