The President of the House of Commons, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, will pay an official visit to Cyprus next week to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Cyprus, as an opportunity to reaffirm the strong friendship between Cyprus and the United Kingdom and the mutual commitment to democratic values.
