Violations by the Health Insurance Organisation (HIO) of the provisions of the law on the General Health Insurance Scheme, the Auditor General of the Republic, Odysseas Michaelides, finds in special report which it released on Friday.
Specifically, in the report, the Audit Office attributes violations by the OAI of the provisions of the Law on General Health Care by health care providers (physicians and private hospitals), while violating the provisions of the Law on Balanced and Comprehensive Budget.
