Ethnikos Achnas defeated Doxa Katokopias 3-1 in Dasaki and took a lead in the quarter-finals of the Coca-Cola Cup, ahead of the second leg that will take place on February 3 at Makarios Stadium.
The goals were scored by Marios Ilias (43`) and Duris (52` and 57` penalty). Diaz reduced the deficit for Doxa at 84`.
Apollon - AEL
In the Limassol derby, Apollon defeated AEL 1-0 in their first match of the Coca-Cola Cup round of 16. Digini scored the decisive goal in the 86th minute. The second leg will take place on 2 March.
AEL played with ten players from the 53rd minute due to Torres' suspension.
