Police attribute the fire that broke out in a vehicle this morning in Paphos to a malicious act.
According to a statement from the Cyprus Fire Service, at 05.50 a call was received for a fire in a vehicle, which was parked in the parking lot of a house in Paphos.
There was an immediate response from members of the Police and the Fire Service from the Paphos Fire Station with two fire engines and the fire was brought under control at 06.06.
The vehicle was extensively damaged by the fire. The fire, after an investigation which was carried out today, in cooperation with the police, appears to have been set maliciously.
