A majority of members of the US House of Representatives approved on Wednesday night (local time, this morning Cyprus time) a bill to impose a ban on imports of oil and other energy products from Russia due to the Russian military's attack on Ukraine.
The vote is still ongoing. Democratic President Joe Biden announced the embargo on Russian oil the day before yesterday, Tuesday.
