[CNA] UN Secretary General has put a lot of effort into the Cyprus problem, says Stefan Duzarik

The UN Secretary General has made a great effort on the Cyprus problem, his Spokesman Stefan Dusarik said on Wednesday.

According to a statement from the SG, Dusarik, who was responding to a reporter's question as to why the Secretary-General did not issue a similar statement on Cyprus to the one on Ukraine, encouraged the reporter to research what the UN Secretary-General said in the early to mid-1970s about what was happening in Cyprus.
