Two persons were detained in connection with a case of stabbing and illegal possession of property in Paphos.
According to Pafos Assistant Police Director Michael Ioannou, members of the Pafos Traffic Police while on patrol in the Chloracca area in the early hours of the morning intercepted a vehicle driven by a 24-year-old man and driven by a 37-year-old man.
Mr Ioannou said that the 24-year-old and 37-year-old have been previously employed by the investigating authorities for various offences. An inspection of the vehicle revealed that it had been reported stolen to the Paphos central police station, while an arrest warrant was pending against the 24-year-old for the offences of written threats of murder, threats of arson, threats of violence, malicious damage, common assault, which were committed against a 45-year-old resident of Paphos. The complaint of the 45-year-old had been made on 4.
