The death of 2 patients and 2,356 new cases of COVID-19 were announced on Monday by the Ministry of Health. The positivity rate was 1.84%, and 150 patients with COVID-19 were hospitalized in public hospitals.
The deaths involve a 67-year-old man who died on February 27 and a woman, aged 80, who also died on February 28.
The total number of deaths with a terminal cause of COVID-19 is 856.
Of the 150 patients with COVID-19 who are hospitalized in the hospitals of the OCHS, 37 are in serious condition. Of these, one is in the Intensive Care Unit off the ventilator, 14 are intubated and 22 are in Intensive Care Units. The proportion of inpatients without a history of vaccination is 60%. Also, 20 patients who have ceased to be infectious continue to be hospitalized intubated
