[CNA] Two deaths due to COVID-19, 2,698 new cases announced on Monday

The death of two people due to coronavirus and 2,698 new infections, out of a total of 132,177 tests, the Health Ministry announced on Monday, bringing the total number of deaths and infections since the beginning of the pandemic to 825 and 308,917 respectively.

At the same time, the number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 in public hospitals was announced at 64, of which 40 were in serious condition

According to the announcement, the daily positivity rate was 2.04%.

The two deaths announced today concern a woman, aged 90, who died on February 20 and a man, aged 80, who died on February 21

The number of patients hospitalized in public hospitals amounted to 164. 40 were hospitalized in serious condition, of which 13 were intubated in ICU and 27 in PICU.
