Two deaths and 1,834 new cases of coronavirus were announced on Saturday by the Ministry of Health. The positivity rate was 2.01%. The Ministry announced that 128 COVID-19 patients are being treated in the hospitals of the OCHS and 28 of them are in serious condition. The percentage of hospitalized patients with no history of vaccination is 54.69%.
The deaths involve a 77-year-old woman who died on 5 March and a 78-year-old woman who also died on 5 March.
The total number of deaths with COVID-19 as the final cause was 875.Of the 28 patients in serious condition, 12 are intubated, one is off ventilator and 15 are in PICU.
An additional 17 patients who have ceased to be infectious continue to be intubated due to COVID in an intensive care unit.
