A total of 17 people and 6 establishments were reported in the last 24 hours as part of checks for compliance with the orders during the dispersal of Covid-19.According to a representative of the Police Communication Branch, 1,912 checks were carried out nationwide.
Specifically, in Nicosia, 565 checks were made and 10 citizens complained, while in Limassol 165 checks were made without a complaint.
The checks in Larnaca were carried out with three complaints from citizens, where 361 checks were carried out.
In Paphos, 152 checks were carried out and 6 complaints were lodged against owners of premises.
In Famagusta province 387 checks were carried out and 4 citizens complained, while in the Morphou area 145 checks were carried out without complaints.
The Traffic Police carried out 111 checks and the Port and Maritime Police 26, but no complaints were received.
