Eight business managers and 13 people were reported by the police in the last 24 hours in a total of 1,804 checks carried out nationwide for violation of the Infectious Diseases Act.
A spokesperson for the police communication branch told CNA that six people and five businesses were reported during 449 checks in Nicosia province.
In Limassol, two individuals and two businesses were reported during a total of 234 checks in the province, while in Larnaca, one citizen and one business were reported during the 439 checks conducted in the province.
In Paphos, one citizen was complained against during 117 checks, while another three citizen complaints were recorded in Famagusta province where 311 checks were carried out. No complaints were made during 162 checks in the Morphou area.
