Turkey's currency crisis turned political on Thursday, according to Agence France-Presse, as Turkey's finance minister urged citizens to launch legal action against economists who reported on social media on the Turkish lira's decline.
As AFP reported, Finance Minister Nuredin Nebati's unusual statements late Wednesday followed the Turkish banking regulator's decision to file complaints against more than 20 people - including former Central Bank of Turkey governor Durmus Yilmaz - for their Twitter posts.
