[CNA] Treatment and prevention discussed by the Minister of Justice - Addiction Treatment Authority

The legal framework and programmes for the prevention and treatment of addictions were extensively discussed at a meeting held by the Minister of Justice and Public Order with the President and members of the Cyprus Addiction Treatment Authority, in the presence of the Director of YKAN.

A statement by the Ministry, transmitted by the MFA, said that the Minister assured that the issues of treatment and treatment of addictions are of particular interest to the Ministry and seeks the cooperation of the Authority. Through the discussion, suggestions were made on ways to improve and modernise the existing legal framework for the prevention and treatment of addiction incidents.
