Stefanos Tsitsipas won a difficult victory and qualified for the "16" of the international tournament "Abierto Mexicano Telcel", held in Acapulco.
The Greek tennis player won 2-0 against Serbian Lazlo Jere, winning both sets in a tie-break after two hours and 15 minutes.
World No. 4 Tsitsipas beat 27-year-old Jere (world No. 51) 7-6(7), 7-6(4) and will face 23-year-old American Jeffrey Wolff (No. 209), who eliminated Italian Lorenzo Sonego (No. 21) 3-6, 7-6(7), 6-2) in the next round of the tournament.
