The upgraded website of the Welfare Benefits Administration Service goes live on Tuesday.
According to an announcement by the Ministry of Social Welfare, the new portal, located at www.dmsw.gov.cy/wbas, will make communication with civil society more interactive and direct, answering questions and providing clarifications regarding all benefits handled by the Service, it said.
It is added that answers to the most frequently asked questions have been included, mainly concerning the provisions of the legislation on Minimum Guaranteed Income, Child and Single Parent Allowance, Low Pensioners' Allowance, Maternity Allowance, Carer's Allowance, etc. Furthermore, through the website, it is possible to submit a request for the issuance of a certificate of receipt of benefit.
