The total number of patients who died with the final cause of COVID-19 until 24 February 2022 is 841 and not 834, as stated in yesterday's daily statement, the Ministry of Health clarifies.
In a statement, the Ministry notes that as part of the annual recording of data by the Health Monitoring Unit, it has proceeded to update the database it maintains on patient deaths, having recorded and verified all data reported in previous months to the Epidemiological Surveillance Unit.
Specifically, the 7 deaths reported overdue concern a woman, aged 64 years, who died on 04/03/2021, a man, aged 81 years, who died on 29/03/2021, a man, aged 81 years, who died on 02/05/2021, man, aged 77, who died on 24/05/2021, woman, aged 62
