The total number of patients, who died with the final cause of COVID-19 until February 17, 2022 is 814 and not 802, as stated in yesterday's daily announcement, the Ministry of Health clarifies.

In a statement, the Ministry of Health said that as part of the annual recording of data by the Health Surveillance Unit, it has proceeded to update the database it maintains on patient deaths, having recorded and verified all data reported in previous months to the Epidemiological Surveillance Unit.

It notes that the 12 deaths reported out of time relate to a woman, aged 85 years, who died on 09/01/2021, a woman aged 66 years who died on 19/01/2021, a woman aged 85 years who died on 11/02/2021, woman aged 80 who passed away on 25/02/2021, man aged
