The test to stay is also being introduced in the National Guard, Defence Minister Haralambos Petridis said.
In statements after the Cabinet meeting, Petrides said he called during the session for the inclusion of the AF in the program.
"I have requested and the National Guard has been included in the test to stay program," he said, noting that "we are a large organization, we are moving in that direction."
Asked when the test to stay program will be implemented in the National Guard, Petrides replied that "we are in consultation with the Ministry of Health and we expect to announce the date very soon."
