The stock market recorded gains on Tuesday, with the General Index rising 1.57%, closing at 69.74 points, while the FTSE/CySE 20 Index closed at 41.89 points, recording a gain of 1.63%. The daily turnover was €114,517.49.
All individual stock market indices recorded gains, with the exception of investment companies, which remained unchanged. Specifically, the Hotel sector rose 0.1%, the Main Market rose 1.97% and the Alternative Market rose 0.93%.
Bank of Cyprus securities attracted the most investor interest with €48,311 (up 1.9% - closing price €1.07). This was followed by Logicom shares at €19,939 (up 5.38% - closing price €1.96), Vasilikos Cement Works at €14.101 (up 1.45% - closing price €2.8), Atlantic Insurance Company
