The stock market moved up on Tuesday, boosted mainly by small gains in the Main Market securities.
The General Index rose 0.32% to close at 71.12 points, while the FTSE/CySE 20 Index rose 0.33% to close at 42.78 points. Daily turnover was limited to €71,381.
The individual stock market indices recorded gains, with the exception of the Hotel sector, which recorded no change. Investment Companies showed the biggest increase with 1.43%, followed by the Main Market with 0.61% and the Alternative Market with 0.02%.
Bank of Cyprus securities attracted the most investor interest with €25,227 (no change - closing price €1.08). This was followed by Petrolina (Holdings) Public with €24,066 (unchanged - closing price €1.20), Logicom Public Ltd with €6.680
