The Ethics and Sports Protection Committee announced the appointment of the investigators for the investigation of the basketball match between ENAD and APOEL, while it also announced that it is studying the file of UEFA for suspicious betting activity in the Cup football match between Paralimni and Ermis.
According to the Commission's announcement, following the decision to conduct an investigation into the above match, the Commission appointed Mary Olivia McCluskey and Katerina Sofokleous, Lawyers, as Investigating Officers for the said investigation.
Their terms of reference include, the investigation of criminal and/or disciplinary offences of manipulation, bribery, prohibited betting as well as incompatibility of persons who were in any way involved in the match in question.
