[CNA] The price of Brent oil approached 100 dollars a barrel on Tuesday amid the Russian-Ukrainian crisis

The price of Brent crude oil approached $100 a barrel on Tuesday, reaching its highest level since September 2014, amid rising tensions between Russia and Ukraine, before retreating to the $98 level.

Currently, the price of Brent crude oil stands at $98.25 a barrel, up $2.86 or 3% from Monday's price.

US crude oil (WTI) is strengthening at 94.99 dollars a barrel, an increase of 3.92 dollars or 4.30%.
