[CNA] The Police has received 14 complaints from citizens and 7 establishments for violation of the measures against COVID dispersal

The Police have received 14 complaints from citizens and 7 businesses for violation of measures against the spread of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

A spokesman for the police communication branch told CNA that during the last 24 hours, which ended at 06:00 on Wednesday morning, 2,158 checks were carried out in free areas.

In Nicosia 663 checks were carried out and 5 citizens and 4 establishments were reported, in Limassol 204 checks were carried out and 4 citizens and 1 establishment were reported, in Larnaca 1 establishment was reported after 389 checks were carried out, in Paphos 1 citizen and 1 establishment were reported after 122 checks, in Famagusta there were 4 complaints from citizens after 376 checks, while in the Morphou area 166 checks were carried out without any complaints.
