The President and Vice President of the Paphos Hoteliers Association, Thanos Michaelides and Evelyn Kleanthous Komodromou, respectively, reiterate the issue of the difficulty in finding staff in hotels.

The President of PASYXE Paphos, Thanos Michaelides, called it extremely important and urgent to solve the labour shortage problem, adding that if the pandemic is under control, the tourist flow for 2022 will be quite increased compared to 2020 and 2021 and relatively close to the 2019 numbers.

He also estimated that in order for the hotel industry to respond to the increased occupancy, a workforce is needed.
