The Rector of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), Professor Panagiotis Zafiris, was appointed as the new President of the Rectors' Synod, which brings together the Rectors of all the universities of Cyprus, following the decision of the 31st Rectors' Synod of the Cypriot Universities, which took place on Friday.
As announced by the CUT, the presidency was handed over to Professor Panagiotis Zafiris by the Rector of Neapolis University, Professor Pantelis Sklias.
The position of Vice President of the Rectors' Meeting was assumed by Professor Panikos Poutziouris and the position of Secretary by Professor Philippos Pougioutas.
