[CNA] The Ministry of Health announced that the number of deaths with a terminal cause of COVID is 869

The total number of patients who died with the final cause of COVID-19 up to 4 March 2022 is 869 and not 861, as stated in yesterday's daily statement, the Ministry of Health announced on Friday, explaining that as part of the recording of data from the Health Monitoring Unit, has proceeded to update the database it maintains on patient deaths, having recorded and verified all data reported in previous months to the Epidemiological Surveillance Unit.

"As part of this audit, it appears that the total number of patients who died with a terminal cause of COVID-19 up to 4 March 2022 is 869 and not 861, as stated in yesterday's daily statement," it says.

The 8 deaths reported overdue relate to a woman, aged 60, who died on 13/04
