[CNA] The Ministry of Health announced five deaths and 2,322 new cases of COVID-19, 157 hospitalizations

The Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday five deaths from COVID-19 and 2,322 new cases. The positivity rate stood at 2.22%. The number of patients with COVID-19 hospitalized in the hospitals of the OCYPU amounted to 157.

The five deaths involved a man, aged 71 years, who died on 21 February, a woman, aged 84 years, who died on 21 February, a woman, aged 77 years, who died on 21 February, a woman, aged 46 years, who died on 22 February, and a woman, aged 74 years, who died on 22 February. The total number of deaths with a terminal cause of COVID-19 now stands at 830.

Of those hospitalized, 43 are in serious condition, of whom 11 are in Intensive Care Units (ICUs) intubated and 32 in Intensive Care Units (ICUs).
