[CNA] The Ministry of Health announced 1,794 new COVID cases and 162 hospitalisations on Sunday

The Ministry of Health announced on Sunday 1,794 new cases of COVID, out of a total of 86,413 tests and 162 hospitalized of which 38 in serious condition. The positivity rate was 2.08%. The total number of deaths was 823 and of cases 306,219.

Of 38 patients in serious condition, one is off the ventilator, 12 are intubated and 25 are in an Intensive Care Unit. The Ministry announced that 66.67% of the inpatients are without a history of vaccination.

Of the 86,413 tests, 7,091 are molecular tests which resulted in 173 positive cases with a positivity rate of 2.44%. The total number of Rapid Tests is 79,322, resulting in 1,621 positive cases with a positivity rate of 2.04%.228 </st
